If that is true then surely Sony could be making a big mistake.  From my recollection they have lost alot of money on the ps3 and so i would've thought that this would be the reason against it.  However the xbox360 is microsoft's 2nd console whereas the ps3 is obviously sony's third, therefore i would not see what they would gain in beating them in making another console earlier than microsoft again.  If they did microsoft would know what to do to make their console better but i suppose that was the case with the ps3, they delayed it as it wasn't as good and when it was 'better' they brought it out.  However this did not affect the sales for the xbox 360 anyhow so i dont know... i'd say a bad decision if it was given the go ahead.  I think microsoft are not looking to bring out a new console for a while and are instead trying to concentrate on providing better content for the 360 both download wise and exclusive wise.

And btw how much will this one cost at launch?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?
