By doing this you will be able to download new demos long before they are out on the European version of playstation@store.

 

Read through before you start:

 

1.       Turn on the PS3.

2.       In the xmb go to users and click on “Create a new user”.

3.       In the first screen you have to choose a user name, I just used “user 1” (default) since I only use it for downloading demos.

4.       When you have chosen a name hit “Ok”

5.        Log on to the new user account.

6.       In the xmb go to Playstation@network.  Go one step up and choose “Sign up for playstation@network”.

7.       Click on “Yes I want to create a new account”.

8.       Hit “Continue”

9.       When selecting “Country/Region” of residence, choose “United States” 

10.   Now just follow the registration process like you did the first time you signed up for the playstation@network.

11.   When you get to the point of choosing your address you have to find a legal one. I used Google and found an address to a fast food restaurant in Miami. You don’t have to use your real name, since the address won’t match it.  

12.   When you are done with the registration process log on to the US playstation@store and download the demo you want. After you have started the download, click on “Perform in background”. Exit the store and log on to your normal user account and you will see that the demo is also being downloaded there. When the demo has finished downloading just install it and then you are ready to play.
