Been over and over, back and forth, 

i've read the forum for people in my fucked up position, seeing if i could find an answer.....but i cant!!!

I have a MAC, i live in EU (i bought PS3 (80G) in Europe.

i Have Call of Duty 5

i down loaded from EU Saves

it shows up on my MAC as a folder called:   BLES00354-AUTO-

Inside the folder it had the below 8 files: 

ICON0.PNG

PARAM.SFO

PARAM.PFD

SAVEGAME.SVG

 

 

My Mac is set to UNZIP files on download, which it does.

i changed the  name to:   PS3\SAVEDATA\BLES00354-AUTO-

I copied the the full folder to my portible 1G USB stick.

i inserted into my PS3 and it doesn't see anything. the only way i can even tell that the stick is not empty is when i go to the music icon, press triangle, display all.

I've been going in circles for hours now.........please help a stupid, desperate chump in his time of need.

i so hope its a simple problem to fix, as i would hate for my hours of frustration to be in vain!!!

 

Dear hayemaker, Came on here looking for same solution. Also using a mac and a 80GB PS3. So i made a folder "PS3" then put a folder in that called "SAVEDATA" then put the unzipped, downloaded game save folder in that. Transferered to USB stick and... NOTHING. But then i tried another stick i have, a Staples 512mb stick, It worked on that fine. Original unco-operative stick was a peak 2gb stick. Anyway i got the game save i want and now it wants to overwrite my save file!? which i can't copy to anywhere, nor as it tells me i cannot obtain trophies on another users gamesave. SHORT VERSION: Try another stick.
